I did the FREE win 10 upgrade way back when. After about 6 months there was an unrecoverable error. Win 10 informed me that I needed to re-install win 10 and that all my programs and files were lost and unrecoverable.

So, I went back to win 7. Now windows tells me it's no longer genuine. It also tells me I may be a victim of software piracy. It also tells me I need to register windows but the registration period has ended. Typical microsoft BS.
