i just spent today trying to fuse some videos together (namely Zero2/Fatal Frame2 trailer that was chopped up by ign) with adobe after effects and no matter what i do with the compression, DivX, cinepak, indeo, etc, the video (which is 4:16 in total) comes to an amazing 94MB 
! so i was wondering... to all you video people out there, what codec (.avi) and what program should be i be compressing videos with? and is it recommended that i 'render' one of these huge files with after effects and then pass it through something else?
EDIT: i settled for .wmv and the result was a reasonable 12MB.......
