How to get FX-Skins to stop flashing

Tutorial copied with the friendly permission from Identity Crisis .

    Created by Sceneriomapmaker

Of Course you can, but it has the be a black texture to start.

Import the black texture, with the appropriate name. Now, make the FX texture, say you're using FIRE TEXTURE, and name it the same as the black on, but with fire at the end.

Now make the fire texture look however you want it to look. When completed, go into the properties of the black texture. Click on Animation, and make it joined with the FIRE texture.

Now, for the extra part. Go into the properties of the FIRE texture. Make it join with itself.
Now no more flashy FX skin!
