I started a topic for a reguest of this skin here he is: :D
Name: Baetal
Author: Mactom27
Game: UT2004
Download: here
Default voice: Male Aliën like all Skaarj have.

Some strange things:
There is a DS store thing in the zip file.
(i don't know what that is tough.)

Now some good things:
  • He has CTF4 support
  • You can choose him as your start character in single player.
  • Pretty good remake of the original Baetal from UT goty.

Ans some bad things:
  • You can't choose him as a team mate in single player.
  • He doesn't has data.
  • The readme is a bit short

I started a request for this skin, so i like it :D, but i give it a 9.6 out of 10.
In other words 96%

I saw that in some of MacTom27's zip files, too. I've also seen a folder called "__macosx", too.

I just looked up ".DS_Store" on google again, and here's a page about them:

http://www.macromedia.com/cfusion/knowledgebase/index.cfm?id=tn_16831

Judging from what I read on there, maybe somebody should tell MacTom27 to be careful!

Thanx for the link Starry .

I thought the .ds-files are needed for the unzipping at a Mac-Machine (I have no experinece with MacOS).
The next time I get them submitted I remove them , before I upload them.:)

As a true mac user, DS files are NOT needed to unzip, i have no clue why that was in there... just plain wierd. One more thing... If MacTom27 is on a mac, how does he skin for ut???

Mac machines have always(in my little world) been best at image editing. Photoshop and GIMP is the two image editing software I know is always available for Mac.
UT2004 is also available for Mac so no real biggy for skinning on a Mac.

I myself have never owned nor operated a Mac.

You forget, my dear friend, you need UEd to put the skins into the game.
Oh yeah and mac is the best for image editing:tup:
