UnrealED2.x PC Version To Mod UC2 Via PC

Are you trying to make a Total conversion of Unreal Championship 2 for Unreal Tournament 2004, or are you trying to make a Xbox copy of Unreal Championship 2 playable on the PC? I'm confused here.

I would love to see Unreal Championship 2 on the PC, the higher screen resolution and shorter load times would be real nice. The thing that turned me off of UC2 was that it really needs a high screen resolution, and the load times are to long.

Epic give permission to use Unreal Assets like lauren selker etc but no chars out mortal combat games.

no u will need an orginal game because the emulation of the xbox kernels.
the xbox copy's the game to the hdd and play it. but there are few files on the dvd that he dont copy.

I personally hoping that this project will be a suc6."because the screens on IGN and Gamespot are all made on the PC" but i think of not.

I know Lauren has permission to get UC2 working on the PC, but are you guys allowed to post the sound and music files on the boards? This stuff is still copy-righted material and you need to actually own a version of UC2 to use it which not everyone on this board has.

I am trying to make a map pack for 2k4.I've been messin with it awhile and this is exciting.

I can help make alot of this stuff useable for UT2004.

Lauren, what are the file types in the "Xbox Static Meshes" folder?

They should be either .3ds or ,psk.

Post some praxis Meshes.

I think the best bet is to try and get all the Code and Textures and Meshes out there for people to add to 2k4.I think THEN you may get a UC2 mock-up.

IF Lauren and Venom can start crankin me out this stuff, I 'll be bustin out the UC2 maps.

Par tof what takes along time is picking waht should replace the UC2 counter part.If I have this stuff I can just make the maps, and worry about scale and weapon placement.

Is Praxis goingbe built to suit the UT2k4 scale unlike DM-Deadbolt! (way to big)

For one thing Praxis is way small.So I doubt it.

I feel that Deadblot is just right as do many others.IF in your opinion it is too large I'm sorry but I think it's no larger than Rankin or others that are similar.

BUt thanx...I am doint a little more to it.

yah i know its size is like rankin but the scale of it was just too big!! Everything looked way to big! But the map was good!!

I have to disagree really.We planned this VERY much.
We used the mutli dodge mutator to help us proove some scalinf issues.

I think alot of what throws people off is how they play.

I'm gonna post a demo or a .AVI in the Atari forums for all of you to see.I think if you see ME play the map, and how one should move on it, and some of the not so obvious techniques you can employ, you may feel differently.
Just as an example: You know the rear "Steam pad".Well have you been able to use that to get to the upper levels....the side with the LG and 2 Health Pickups?

Also there is more than one way to get the uDamage.

You will be pleased to know I am gonna fix a few things.I've used some of these PRaxis textures to make it look more UC2.I am also gonna replace the Weather Effect with emitters.

As far as the Scale, I think it's right on man....thats just what I think.The original seems TOO damn big at first too.Learn the map well, and suddenly it becomes quite small.
