UnrealEd screwed up bad, need help

  • Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. hi,

ever since i installed the last patch, i get a plague of a problem occuring.

whenever i hover over any of the 'buttons', it thinks "i've clicked it" and opens up whatever i have hovered over.

this gets really irritating, but especially irritating in the Particle Editor and 2D shape editor.

anyone have a solution, or at least the same problem?

Yep, I have the same problem... My only solution is to move FAST with the mouse... (click and move like hell). I know this doesn't help, but I think it's a general thing, I'd just wait for the next patch.

sorry man.

redid the last patch (which i strongly think was the cause of this)...no dice.

erased the unrealed.ini file...no dice.


maybe next patch will fix this issue.

to roll back on a patch, uninstall the game, delete the folder it leaves behind, then reinstall the game and the patch you want.

This is because a later patch might change things an earlier one does not. So if you roll back you might end up with files from two different versions, which may or may not work.

The best thing to do to roll back to an earlier patch is to uninstall the game and reinstall it.

hrm... well... al i see left is to goddamn... format... 3-4 times in a row i thinx should help clean up every single problem youve ever had... oh yeah... dont forget to cut the power completely for at least half an hour...

belive me... i know what im talking about when i say this... multiple times formatting CAN help... or its just my pc that has its own mind.

my comp is the wierdest thing i have ever encountered... sometimes it does things it cant... sometimes it does things it shouldnt... and other times its completely impossible to get anything to work!
