Unreal and Tribes Community?

I got U2 before XMP was even in the planning stages. =p

XMP was planned to be released with U2 from the get go. Its just that it got scrapped during developement and Legend released it in the form we know today later on.

The smelter owned. Q2CTF3.. I think someone should make an XMP map based on that level, it was just the f'n BEST. But I also hold McKinley Revival dear to my heart, as it was the first map I played (of course, being Q2CTF1) and was a heat.net classic back in the day. GAWD. Let's all play some Quake2 for old times sake ;P

I've been into FPS games ever since quake, I've played quake, all versions known to man, no one lives for ever 1 and II, Return to castle Wolfenstien, then I was asked to Beta this. I havn't played another FPS since. This is the only game I ever cared enough about to get active on the boards. If this game ever dies I may head over to far cry I hear that game is cool.

i played net doom1/2,quake1/2,unreal1,and others

as to online gaming well my real first online game was StarSeige then tribes1 then sfc and some other minor games then tribes2(like the way tribes1 handels better) then xmp and tryed ut2k3/2k4 they bore me
oh i did do a 1mo stint in tfc but that got old

played scbw for a time

for fps games xmp is the **** tribes is close 2nd as long as its a mod server like shifterX(tribes1) or revmod2,war2003 in tribes2

i got xmp becouse it looked simlar to tribes but better graphic :O

now we just need to get atari to make xmp free oh wait it is

Never played tribes although I have played a ton of Team Fortress Classic and UT: CTF, DOM, and Assault in a clan. Used to rely on Quake3 for pure DM. This is actually the first fps i've ever played with broadband (which I just got like a month ago). I STILL miss a lot because I lead my targets too much expecting the 56Krapper-lag! hehe. Old habits die hard I guess...

But I definitely wanna check out Tribes Vengeance when it hits... I'm more interested in that after playing XMP than goin out and gettin' UT2k4.

Oh and by the way... it's being done on the Unreal Engine... so it should be very XMP-like on a little bigger scale.

I'm a tribes player but, Thought about trying u2 Xmp..

but u will have to patch it to v.7710 and u have to install U2
theres somewhere a crack but cant remember wich site....

Install file (6497) <-- download this and put it in the same folder as my attachment and run both u2xmpp's (I think)

Then download and install the 7710 patch (here).
