I don't know what all the fuss is about... You can easily get more points as a flag defender than a flap capturer. You get two points (I think) for killing a flag carrier, and five for getting your flag back. That's seven points every time someone tries to steal your flag, assuming you're always the one to get it back. The potential for a high score is much greater defending.

The thing that bugs me is Dird says he has three aliases or three stats logins or whatever on three PCs and he doesn't even legally own the game. Something just feels fishy... It's just too convenient for him. Can you be sure it actually was him playing with Tale, or is he just taking credit for some other guy who uses that name? None of the Dirds on the stats played last night, yet as soon as someone said "There's three Dirds on stats" he immediately laid claim as being all of them.

You've gotta admit something is strange about all this. Didn't he say he had a copy of the game? Now he's using a crack. If he is, then he should be banned from here. Two of the three Dirds have stats but no matches listed (?), and the other one seems to only play FaceClassic..and most of the matches seem to be spent idling, yet in one there's a Wicked Sick with no deaths in the match and he only used the Sniper. But none of these Dirds seem to cap.

I guess that this is our guy cos he ONLY seems to play or want to play FaceClassic (that's what he challanged Bee to, that's what he asked Ren about at BuF).

But it's strange that he didn't know that Face Classic is a retail map. And a crack, that's well out of order.

So Dird, what crack are you using...and I'd be interested in whether he answers TWs question as well.

As far as stats to, it's not linked to the CD Key/GUID, but rather, it's linked to the stats username/password that entered in the settings. It's up to him to use the same username/password on all three computers so that they all get listed under one stats account.

I'm still waiting for Dird to respond to this thing about crack, though...

I think it's a online play crack, which is why he can't play via AntiTCC, as it detects this as a modified file probably.

He really should just buy the game... the normal edition is down to about $25, and the ECE like $35 now. DVD versions, add $5 each.

I can't believe people who aren't willing to shell out a little for a game like UT2k4 which just has SO much content. It's the best value for money game I've ever bought in terms of content and hours played....Ripping off games just sucks, it's just so small and stingy.

Ironically, our boy Dird started a thread saying that Epic are ruining the Unreal name with melee fighting in UC2. That they are "selling out". Now, tell me, what right does someone who doesn't pay for the game, who gives nothing to Epic to play their game, have to complain about what Epic do, about ruining the Unreal game, about selling out?

1) Slow Internet. Saves you from downloading Gigs on Gigs of mod.

The reason i asked whether Face was in was coz on that map list in the thread it didnt list it..so i assumed it just rotated the listed wit no map vote.

Also, you said you're getting a copy on saturday, but you can't play on the BU server because of your cracks. If you're going to be buying the game, why is it an issue?

If you like this game, buy it. The clan knows i have a copy....thats why im gettin it saturday. You get kicked for using a cd key in the leagues.
Face is not the only CTF map ive played..i joined a clan called [B|K] bout 2 weeks ago and we played on the maps commonly used in leagues...sadly they kicked me wen they found out i was 16 (18+ there)
