I think its really good that the guys at epic are taking a chance and expanding the oh so crowded genre that is the FPS, the additions to the series that i have seen so far look great. I know there will be hardcore fans out there who will complain about how much the game deviates from the usual unreal series, but I have been playing the unreal series since I was hooked on the original “Unreal” in 1998 (I was 10 years old). I own every title in the series yet released, on both PC and XBOX. I, as an unreal fan, don’t think that UC2 looks out of place in the unreal universe at all, I am especially glad to see the classic unreal weapons such as the stinger making a return after all these years (does anybody know if the Dispersion Pistol will be making a comeback?) . Epic games appear to be doing a great job on the game (from what ive seen) and I feel they have done the unreal series proud yet again – now I just can’t wait for it to be released!
