UE1 - UT Trigger question

  • Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It is highly recommended that you configure this to keep your account safe.

Hai,,

I have a small problem with a room I'm making, maybe someone can give me some advice..

Is it possible to open a door when a trigger remains shot for lets say 5 seconds.
I have a trigger attached to a mover. Behind that is a door.
You have to shoot the trigger for 5 seconds with the pulsegun's 2nd fire, to open the door.

No clue how to do this. All help is welcome
cheers irridium

That would require a custom trigger class that accumulates damage of a specific type, potentially resetting after a certain time without any damage. I don't think there are other easy ways to limit it to the pulse beam and require continuous damage output.
