OK people. We've got a problem here.
Some of you may know, some of you won't, so heres the run down:

Our very own community member Fizzil is having a problem with the evul ISP. They block a hell of a lot of stuff which we all take for granted. Porn being the main one.

Now, I've been zipping him links to webbased proxy services, but it seems that his ISP block the word proxy aswell. He's PAYING for this service remember and he's not even allowed to research proxies.

So what we need is this:
Any ideas on how to bypass this 'blockage of information and pornage'.
Any cgi/php proxy scripts. I'm willing to donate to fizzil the webspace and bandwidth to house this script for his fappage needs.

Imagine if this poor soul was you. Living your entire life with only homosexual porn (yes, that's right. His ISP blocks all types of porn EXCEPT homosexual).
How would you cope? Personally i'd sue the sorry ass outta my ISP or run them down in a VW Beetle just for the comedy factor.

In times of need this community always comes together for the common good. Help him. Help him fap once more.

His ISP is the only one within the Capital. I've already though of the zip idea. It's a last resort really, it would be so much better to give this man all the porn on the interweb rather than all the porn in a zip file

the ISP is etisalat, its main HQ is in Kuwait, but there is a local website http://www.etisalat.co.ae/index2.htm .

Are there any other ISPs round the UAE you could subscribe to? I'll find a proxy in the meantime.

It sounds like your ISP is using something similar to websense. And kudos to DeeperShade for presenting this in such a comical way ^^ . You should try to get in touch with someone who runs a hosting service and see if they have a proxy address you can us.

guess its been a long time since i visited newgrounds, but anyways. The only other ISP is only available in the unofficial "capital" of the uae which is Dubai, but thats hard to reach since i'm in the regions that belong to Abu Dhabi.

Sounds to me you want an SSL encrypted CGI proxy. My highschool's network would block the word proxy, but if I used an SSL proxy, everything was gravy.

Metropipe. Runs linux through QEMU emulation. Runs great under Linux with the KQEMU accellerator (assuming you are running the latest QEMU CVS). Available for Windows, but it's slower. It allows you to tunnel web surfing and such through SSH. That's what I use whenever I want secure surfing.

Guardster is a good proxy too, but I'm betting it's blocked.

AFAIK Fizzil is in the UAE, could be some Islamic law thing I dunno... kinda like that fundamentalist Christian ISP that popped up a while back with porn blocking etc.
