If they have different sound-clips for different "I will destroy you" taunts anyway, why couldn't they have used different lines? I noticed this in Oblivion too. You ask different people and they tell you the same thing in different voices. I can understand the need to reuse content, or that you don't want to have too many lines for one and the same thing, but if you have multiple recordings anyway, why not change the wording a little for each of them?
I will destroy you -> I will kill you -> You must be destroyed
You must die -> I must kill you -> I will kill you
Surely writing the lines takes the least effort compared to the other steps of getting them into the game.
