Christmas was a pagan holiday, and the Roman Christians, in essance, lied. They felt that the conversion of the Northern humans was more important than the commands of God..I feel they were wrong, but I think a lot of things...
...We celebrate, in the U.S.A., christmas... the day Christ was born?...we don't know...but with his birth and teachings the Northern people learned of the one true God...Christ, even if he is not the savior of the Jews, saved the Gentiles by showing us God...
...The God of the Isriaelites is the true creator...why he favors them, I don't know...but I don't care...that my people are a tool of his plans is the greatest honour there is...
...when I think of Christmas, it isn't presents, or theology...I think of the pain endured by someone, when he could have gotten out of it...to teach me about the one, true living God.
