No, the aswer is "yes"

UT maps are in Unreal Championship. They may be alittle revised but the major changes are in the player characters and implimenting the X-box's controls to the game.
I wonder if Deck will make it? It transended Unreal into UT and remains one of my favorite maps.

I think that's where most ppl miss the whole point of mapping.
A "good" map gives players what they want. It's an elusive "Je'ne sais quoi" (forgive my French) which is that what I don't know quality that makes 'em great. Face is undoubtably hated because of its popularity and over simplistic approach to CTF. But I feel Deck is more envied for finding that combination that unlocks replayability than being your basic favorite newbie map. Deck hangs just a the cusp of an acceptable learning curve while face is stylized for the brain dead sniper fodder lovin net junkies.
But I wouldn't be surprised if Face showed up in UC. Curious though, the X-Box doesn't seem to be able to support custom maps, those outside out of the box so to speak. Are we to be denied user made maps?

Its a classic alright. Didnt someone post a screenshot a few months back showing a screenshot of Deck16][ with horrid green lights that was going to be in UC?

Think of it this way: you know how mappers have to limit themselves to 400 polys per frame now? Well, multiply that limit by 100 to 150 and think of how many polys per frame that will encompass. Now take that evolution and apply it to models, weapons, and effects.

Now you have xtra pretty game.

The downside: the only thing translating from Unreal 1 will be the Skaarj.

hard to say, especially now that the xbox/ps2/cube will al be online eventually. maybe you could download them to a huge ass memory card or somthing, but the xbox has a harddrive so it is very likely for xbox games.........

How would you make a custom map for an X-Box game? Unrealed wouldn't be much fun on those console controllers.

i meant that you could probably dl them from the net and save them to the xbox's harddrive. its probably unlikely that you could make your own on the console, but some games like tony hawk you can make your own levels and save them, even on ps and n64..........

Maybe, but I think it's unlikely that an X-Box game will be able to use a map copied directly from a PC.

i dunno, i remember reading that the console versions of ut and q3a might be compatible with the pc versions for deathmatch etc and i think segas pso v2 will cross between the dc, gc & pc versions.............
