Delightful game while it lasted. It was still pretty good for a year or two after it was dead. Unfortunately the time finally came where there wasn't enough substance left to make it worth playing.

It's not terrible, it's very good. And it's a fact, the only thing that is not good is that it's short and that it can only be played once, and that there are "missions" instead of a long story like in U1. But everything else (ignore the lag and get used to controls) is good.

What would make u2 SP better is XMP movement. Be done the game in no time.

Maybe add co-op to the SP for up to 4 players. Maybe also make your own SP maps, and have bots have skill levels, and you can make them do anything and everything human players can do. Max skill at lvl 100 and it will be aimbot 1 hit kills on you all the time.

no more of this "every now and then you go into a server and there are like 12 people playing and it's fun"

Yeah it's dead dead. Whenever i look at XMP there is no players playing, it's been 4 days now with nobody playing. Not that it matters anymore, i play cod4, and cod2.

Unreal 1 proved that games can be revived... They released the unofficial 227 patch for that, now many people came back or started playing it.

Glad to see that still some people like it to play even the old Unreal games,there isn't any reason to deinstall the games from your HD if you are an true Unreal Fan.Sure,some people say,UT3 is out,so that means the other Unreal games are ****,if somebody says that,he doesn't has a idea what he is talking about.Everybody talks about the Unreal World and how they like it,but suddenly they say:'I deinstalled all other Unreal games,because UT3 is out.' I think you two may be confused. Sure, Unreal 2 doesn't need to be dead as long as you keep playing it, but XMP has been composting for a while now.
