well, it isnt perfect, and does have its flaws, but I gotta say, even with them I was playing for a good 3 hours, about 3xs as long as i'v ever played UT2004, and I still wasnt bored! GJ guys. Cant wait for future versions

Hey great job on the mod guys! And seems this is one of the few mods that will have a strong community, as there is a lot of servers online.
There is a few bugs, the shield generators particles dont always align well, and once i spaned as a ranger with invisible guns that coudnt shoot. Beside that,i only played u2xmp once or twice and i cant realy compare it to your mod. In the games i played, people seemed to expect like the exact 100% replica of the same game... lol I didnt care realy, at long as its fun, and it is. BTW the particles on the guns are great, and also i get crasy smooth fps always over 30-40, that makes the gameplay and teamplay work and look so nice.

Is there a tutorial somewhere on your site that explain how to make a ut2004xmp map?

I played online with some clanmtes of mine, we pretty much agreed that this mod deffinatly kicks ass. I'm not even bother commenting on the small bugs, 'cause it is still fun as hell to play. Again great job guys, and thanks for your hard work in spite of the abuse/complaints you guys put up with.

Visually, very..... very smooth. Having some sort of net problem that inhibits my play (posted in troubleshooting) but my initial impressions are great with a few welcome changes:

- faster hack times
- Machine gun on the Juggernaut
- using numbers for turret toggling

Looking forward to resolving my net problem and really running this game through its paces.

After looking past the bugs that severly irritated me for the first 5 minutes of playing, this game is superb! Gr8 job FMI!!

Thanks FMI for all the hard work....it's apparent pretty much immediately how much time and ability has gone into producing this.

I can't believe how much fun it is.

Yeah, there are a few issues, but this is the public beta...it will get polished and shined and be even better. I've played a lot of mods on UT2k4, but even the best ones (with the exception of RO) feel like a mod...but this feel like a retail game. Personally, if it weren't a free download, I'd go out and buy it anyway.

Hopefully it will get the following it deserves and there will be a healthy number of servers available. I'm certainly going to spread the word to people I know who own UT2k4.
