Textures

  • Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It is highly recommended that you configure this to keep your account safe.
You have to convert your .jpgs to .pcx files, paintshop pro is a handy program for this. Then place your textures in your unreal\system directory and use the import button at the bottom of the texture browser. Your textures must be sized to 16*16, 32*32, 64*64, 128*128, etc etc other wisse the textures won't load. I believe you can go up to a max of 512*512. When you import you textures be sure to create your own .utx file so that you have no problems when you wish to distribute your map. There is a good tutorial at www.unrealed.com on making and importing custom textures.
