I can't tell the difference between a thunder boom and the sound of a car bomb going off. In my defence, it was cloudy and raining heavily at the time.

while the exact details are still sketchy, most major news outlets are now reporting that the attack was most likely home-grown political terrorism; as opposed to Islamic extremists or random acts of violence/anarchy.
