I'm doing some UT2k4 stuff for class. I've done some very basic weapon coding and basic static mesh importing, however, I've never done any coding to get new meshes ingame, etc.
So my friend brings over this model he has. I import the animations, the static mesh, etc and save the animation package and the static mesh package. I want to use this model as an xPawn to import into the game so that the guy just walks around. How do I do this? This thing never shows up in the meshes so I can't set the xPAwn to the mesh. How do I do this? Do I have to code him as a sort of playable model to do such a thing? If so, I need help doing this. How much more difficult is it to code in a weapon for him to be holding?
Any help I can get is appreciated.
