tech question- ram latency?

We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It is highly recommended that you configure this to keep your account safe.

How do you know what the latency of your RAM is? I just bought some from PNY, and it didnt mention anything of it on the box. Right now I have the latency set to 2 (was 3) in my BIOS, and there aren't any visible problems. I'm just wondering what kinds of issues I should be looking for (random freezing? video corruption? smoke coming out of the case?) Thanks for any insight. :)

If the RAM was expensive compared to others, then it's probably a low latency. I bought a 64 MB module from a local store for $90 and I could easily set my timing to Turbo and CAS Latency to 2.

Issues you should be looking for are Blue Screens Of Death, Illegal Operations, and random program crashes, especially during games. Before I had this RAM I had some really cheap, bad RAM, and I forgot that I had set my latency to 2, and Asheron's Call would frequently lock up hard.

A lot of motherboards will tell you if your CAS latency is set incorrectly.

So if you're not gettin a warning, like "suggested CAS latency setting is 3", you're probably all set if you've got it at 2.
