somewhere; sometime?
wait now I'm confused.

was it Tactical Ops or Tactical Assault?
it's been so long now, all those realism mods are starting to run together in my memory, the ones for UT99.

there was Tactical Something-or-other, Infiltration, Strike Force, Agent X... uh.
I feel like I'm forgetting a bunch now, all these nostalgic memories have blended together.

Good luck to them, I say. I don't think the desire for a good variant on this gametype (2 team, round based, reward based game progression) hasn't waned as much as many thought it would (look at the success of modern warfare I/II's round based modes).

At least one person I've worked with in the past is involved with this project and if there were no meat in the pie I'm sure he wouldn't be part of it.

I think trolling and making cheap personal shots should be left at the door, thanks.

I will be interested to see if they can get this to public release, mostly since so far no one has put out any sort of multiplayer team game on UDK yet and it will be interesting to see how player numbers fare in a world where people don't have to pay directly.

Good luck fellas, if there's anything I can do to lend a hand give me a shout, if only so I can work with resti again :p

How much experience do you need to apply? I am fairly new to the mapping/modding scene but this has my interest.

I do theatre so I may also be able to provide some voice work. I have been told that I have good vocal range.

I've hit apply, but I'm not really looking to do coding, every time I join a mod I join as an LA and next thing I know I'm roped into coding :p

It would be interesting to finally work with proto, we talked many years ago of teaming up when I was starting out with domain, however we had different ideas of what we were aiming for.

@undyinglight, I can tell you now from years of experience that good (and more particularly reliable) voice talent is hard to come by. If you have experience with unreal engine even more so. I'd recommend putting together a small package of examples (for example team commands like "take cover", "fire in the hole" and so on) and hit the apply button.

I am still learning the Unreal Editor 3 and UDK, I will try voice acting, perhaps if they really need me I can help in level design or any other area they need me.

We are back with another media release, and this time it’s all about the things that go BANG!
In order to push faster towards our first Beta release, we need a Experienced Weapon Animators with UDK knowledge and a Uscript coder to assist our lead coders.

We have been very busy the last few months concentrating on creating weapons, characters, and maps for our new shiny media page which has just gone live! Link: http://tactical-assault.com/tamedia.html

Matt Lefevere has done a great job in rendering our handful of approved weapons in a UDK Scene. No, these are not in 3ds Max, Marmoset, or touched up in Photoshop.

These are all INGAME Screenshots!

More approved weapons can be found directly on our official site & forums:

We are back with another media release, and this time it's an updated version of the classic TO: Crossfire map, Anvil ! This popular bombing objective map has been completely remade in the UDK with next-gen assets and lighting.

Matt and the team have really brought this level to life.

Preview Snapshop of our latest media:

We have also made great headway on weapon animations thanks to several new animators we've recruited after last month's weapon media release.

Coming Soon....
December media release

For a festive holiday treat, we have a highly anticipated media release planned and currently being worked on that should certainly put a smile on your faces!!

Stay tuned....
