Lets play Night Edge, its al done, and you´ve got 4 models of "realistic" energy guns, and lots of other weapons, all with iron sights, plus cibernetic implants that permits all you´ve suggestted... dl it and play a little to confirm...

Wow, never heard of that mod before! It has corpse equipment pickups like Beppo tried to implement in 2.9. I wonder if their code works with his... Always silly how dead people have mags, grenades and stuff shooting out of their body when they die.

It also has a bleeding system like Dukes! I wonder if theirs is better. It sounds rather similar, except they have a nice graphic effect when bandaging instead of spamming the player's console.

They also have iron sights, but I sincerely doubt it's free aim. I will try it out :) Bet they don't have laser trails...

Their bandage system workslike True Combat(tm) bandaging..it doesn´t have the "wrap whrop" sounds of SWNM thou XD

There´s no free aim (its only OPF and INF privilege), unfortunatly

But the cybernetics rock hard ;-) Its really a pitty this mod died prematuraly

And I hope we have laser trails in a near future, UN (release your alpha muttie, only for Mk23, just for fun...)!!!

The laser trails are way beyond Alpha. They're somewhere in Beta getting nearer to RC1, but this week is finals for me so I won't be doing much coding at all until the weekend.

It is a pity this mod died early. I played it just now and while nothing really worked right, it did have an excellent in-game purchase system and a nice mod system that reminds me of Deus Ex, the game that my original name was inspired from. I also noticed that Warren from Sentry Studios is in the Thank You credits for Night's Edge. No wonder there's so many similarities!

Aside from the dead-body item system, I don't think there's anything in their code to extract for INF. The whole cyber system they set up is nice, but not really made for INF. The bleeding is ok, but Duke's version is a little more advanced with aim-jerking effects. But I do like their little "Bandaging" meter.

I also saw some Silver Ibex maps, though they were much too UT-ish, oversized and not realistic. The ones made for INF seemed much nicer. :)

It had some geniality, but as we said, it died prematurely... as I sad, it´s fun, but nothing compared to INF, thou it is the best cyberpunk realistic shooter I ever seen, and reminds me a lot of Deus Ex and my book rpg, that´s what keeps me playing it as much as INF...

Did you noticed thta some implants alter the player skin? dermal plates and cyber-eyes changes a lot it appearence...

Ohhh, btw, the UMP, the Tavor and the FAL are the best thing in it ;-)

I played Nights Edge few years ago (last version anyway). I liked the weapon quality and animations (why not INF!!).

The mod itself was fun, liked some maps.
