Subscriptions list and something else

hey there. Everytime I start a thread or post in a thread I get automacally signed to Subscriptions list for that thread. how do I set it to stop e-mailing about post coming in to that thread

PS: I was wondering there is no way I could get my 100 post back. I tried to ask but no one helped

Set 'Default Thread Subscription Mode' to 'No email notification'.
Then go to: http://forums.beyondunreal.com/subscription.php?do=viewsubscription&folderid=all
Select the checkbox to check all threads on that page. Change the 'Selected threads:' drop-down box at the bottom to 'No email notification' and click 'Go'. Do this for every page of subscribed threads.

does anyone know how to get back lost post count. does not really matter but its nice to have it back.
