Continuing on with the knife theme:
Spyderco Manix 2. I really wanted to try the bearing lock, my previous knives have all been liner locks and I'm really not a fan back locks. The action on this is smoooooth! The lock slider is a little stiff but I expect that to loosen up nicely with some use. I ordered the 156CM hollow grind blade but received the S30V steel, not sure whether to keep it anyway, it's supposed to hold a razer edge longer but be more difficult get get it that sharp to begin with.
Spyderco lanyard, looks smart enough but I don't know if it'll bug the hell out of me when using the knife.
I also grabbed a Lansky rod sharpener, I've jot a few different whetstones/diamond sharpeners and various types of steels but I've never tried ceramic rods.
I also picked up a Chinese Spiderco, the Byrd Tern a couple of months ago just for an EDC. In all honesty it's pretty good for the price and I'm quite happy with it.
