22" Yeah, I'm freaking happy. Some kid in the writing program gave away his mostly broken PC and sold his monitor for $40. Actually, he was going to me for $20, but I felt too guilty getting such an outrageous deal and slipped him some more.

Excellent. Did you get a plane as well then?

^ what he said. It's a good res for me because the bump to 'full hd' would force me to turn down effects settings or run at non-native res (which on LCD is poo looking).

The great thing about 16:10 is the lowest resolution selectable for me in some games(1440*900) is still higher than 720p. Makes me wonder why 16:9 was the voted choice for televisions.

Wiki ftw! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aspect_ratio_%28image%29#Why_16:9_was_chosen_by_the_SMPTE

Really, I think 16:9 looks good, seems like a perfect fit. Also, what's the point of changing a set standard that has been accepted and works well?

16:9 panels are cheaper to make.

That doesn't make any sense.

This monitor. I'm a bit worried on how it turned "Deactivated" 2-3 days after I ordered it (There was a good rebate on it + Free shipping), if not less. But the reviews seemed great; for the price at least.

Yeah it's no huge, WS 19" 5MS 1440X900 native res.
My previous one's a Acer, 17" 4:3 8+MS? 1158X864

Widescreen... finally. :)
Free shipping shows, it's been nearly a week I ordered it - It is delivered from LA, CA to here, near Montreal.

That's my monitor right there. Except larger. Everything is exactly the same. Buttons, frame, stand.. ETC.

I don't know why I keep buying CDs. I'm in a contest to win a $520 shopping spree at my local music store, and I'm currently in first place in the ratings
