We may have to change the whole XMP Holy Trinity thing to "XMP Holy Quadinity" - the Rocket Launcher, the Flame Thrower, the Concussion Grenade and the Gas Nade - :D
Gas Nades are the Devil!

There is also this lame theory i made up because i was bored. Our universe is like a cup with a top on it or upside down so the open part is closed, inside is the whole universe and maybe some life out there, we are evolving and there are many cups...somewhat like alot of universes, look at the size of cups compared to us, the universe is a cup, imagine the size of the people expierementing on us
It's interesting you bring this up. What is your definition of a God?
Don't know if you've ever seen 2001: A Space Oddysey. In it, an astronaut travels all the way to Jupiter with a crew. The computer slowly starts doing strange things before it starts to murder some of the crew who are in cryofreeze stuff. Eventually only the one guy is left, and once he gets to Jupiter he sees this obelisk thing, of which one had already been found on the moon.

Basically the film is saying that humans were made intelligent after being apes by aliens who interfered with our evolution. The obelisk on the moon is simply a signalling device: if they reach it, they can travel in space.

Once the astronaut reaches the last obelisk at Jupiter, he is suddenly abducted. He goes through some kind of wormhole thing, and is then subject to really strange experiments, in which he ages really quickly and is able to see his younger self right in front of him.

The last part of the film means something: although we were clearly influenced by aliens, these guys are so powerful that, from our perspective, they may as well be God.

From another point of view, imagine owning a Gerbil (if you don't, you may as well get one, they're very fun). The gerbil is completely at your mercy. You can pick it up, you give it food, you give it water. It will learn things if you instruct it. If you wanted, you could not give it food or water. From the gerbil's point of view, you are a god.

Yet you did not create said gerbil, did you? Which is a very basic principle of faith, especially christianity, no? At least the bible kicks off with that story, so I guess it's kinda meaningful.

Anyway, I'll buy the story of 2001:ASO over the bible any day. Never seen that movie, actually. The bible is one of those few books I couldn't be bothered to ever finish, and that doesn't happen very often with me an books :)

God to me is what people believe in, a voice that created us in 1 day, one who is the one who brings miracles, and tragity aswell. The Gerbil thing...maybe i'll buy [pet]Gerbil and train him :D ;) anyway no i havn't seen the 2001: A Space Oddysey movie, that does sound intresting though.

The Tyger, William Blake

TIGER, tiger, burning bright
In the forests of the night,
What immortal hand or eye
Could frame thy fearful symmetry?

In what distant deeps or skies
Burnt the fire of thine eyes?
On what wings dare he aspire?
What the hand dare seize the fire?

And what shoulder and what art
Could twist the sinews of thy heart?
And when thy heart began to beat,
What dread hand and what dread feet?

What the hammer? what the chain?
In what furnace was thy brain?
What the anvil? What dread grasp
Dare its deadly terrors clasp?

When the stars threw down their spears,
And water'd heaven with their tears,
Did He smile His work to see?
Did He who made the lamb make thee?

Tiger, tiger, burning bright
In the forests of the night,
What immortal hand or eye
Dare frame thy fearful symmetry?
