SplitScreen, two XBOX controllers seem to work. But how to make work with K/M combo?

I want a full working splitscreen badly and don't think I'm the only one. It's possbile to run the game in splitscreen by changing a value in a ini file(see link below).

But there's no way to control the second player atm. So need help figuring this one out. Suggestions, info anything that would make this possible woul help. If you think you can figure this out go for it.

Well, afaik it's not possible (at all, not just in UE) to detect from which mouse a signal came, therefore it won't be possible that both use a mouse, at least one has to use a gamepad.

If UE could support something like this it would be awsome

It's a small game that has been programmed to use 2 mouse inputs at once. In other words you can control both mice seperately.

And that's not the only game. There's a few more and suprisingly enough serious sam 2 also supports two mice in splitscreen. I only found that out a few days ago. Wonder how many people actually tried it...

I'm still browsing the net for some alternatives, but it looks like PS2 and usb mouse seperately is the only possibility so far.

Or yeah you can use a gamepad or two to make it even. The gamepad can also be considered a handicap.

But first need to figure out how to control player two...

Ok it seems you can control player2 if you have two XboX controllers(not certain of other types of controllers, mine for one does't work)

Will still need need to figure out how to control second player if you want to use K/M combo with one controller though.

Well, it work with 2 joystick, but the mouse and kb always remain to the first player. I write down my acheivement on the Epic forum, same thread. For now, im able to;

-Use both of my PSone controler completely (via a PSone to USB converter)
-Host a listen server and both players can play in without being kicked, plus others ppl can join without problem.
-Pop-up the UI while hitting "Pause", and that on both controler. (UI seems independent, but im not able to rebind keys on the second controler).

I'm not able to;
-Join any online game, UT3 crash
-Open the console with the second controler (to change the Player2 name per example)
-Cant change the caracter, rebind keys, ect.

The console pop some errors, including <"MyNickMame" is already in use>.

Anyway. Still trying to figure how to change the binds on the controlers (the left Xaxis is in the wrong way, on both controler. The second analog (view) is ok)
I added a screenshot and a little video there
