Wait...there aren't going to be Skaarj? That is THE unreal franchise character! That's what they're all about! This is still looking like a good game, but you can't have an Unreal without the Skaarj. That's like Die Hard without Bruce Willis! Or The Terminator without THE TERMINATOR!
The skaarj thing is a bit of a disappointment, though I guess Epic might be trying to make the game less of a clone of the previous games.
Needs more MISTER CROOOOW, though.
At least we get to see the Krall. They've always been my favorite other unreal race, along with the brutes and the mercs. I'd like to see what the art design team does for the krall, seeing as how the model skipped an engine they have a good amount of artistic license.
What I'd really love to see is the Squid. Those guys are bad ass.

Deathhunters from Akcoop mod. If you want to be owned, play against these. In time you'll learn to fight them, but they'll still be able to own you plenty of times.

but like the krall were weak characters with a bad attitude ,theyre supposed to be smelly or something, they are primitive, they are enslaved by the skaarj... how are they supposed to be cool... i enjoy killing masses of them, but i dont enjoy playing as one of them...
They were lazy and gambled and were cruel!, they have enough personality to be characters in UT. I'm not sure they have ehough to hold it on their own though,

I think Damarus was also the team leader for the FireStorm team, so if they do add the Gen Mo'kai in at a later date, I bet Damarus will be the highest priority.gregori said:

THEY'RE WRONG.
Unreal has tons of creatures wakling, flying, swimming around the levels. You'd be surprised :O)
