1: Zero reinforcements IS realism. Whether you want to believe it or not, it's what real life tactical team assualt is. That was the idea with playing it with RAv3. You gotta control your movements, your aim, your position, and at the same time keep a close eye on yourself and your team. You can't afford to lose anyone. THAT is realism.

B:RAv3 works for me. The only problem I've ever found is no WPBP support and the M16 m203 doesn't work (though Yurch just PM'ed me how to fix that).

III: The hell is an evil HK69?

P.S. RAv3 can USE WPBP weapons... but they aren't effected like normal RA weapons. So they have a HUGE advantage over RA weapons.

I worked a little to add the new guns to RAv3 once. I wasn't too successfull but I added a few. It still contains the same bugs, tends to crash server and clients and gives you huge log file.

Though you can use a few more weapons RAv3 style. I believe this was my last version, gonna check tomorrow.

Note: All credit goes to Yurch, I just copied his patterns. I renamed so he won't be bothered for me screwing some more...

I'd only take it if it fixed ALL of the guns from a certain pack. Otherwise I'd have to deal with all the loadout manager crap and don't really want to waste my time with that. Though that's great that you're doing that! If you could get full support for all our weapons (even if they ARE just remakes of Yurch's pre-existing code) that'd be wonderful.

do 'work'. Since G36 is abusable (due to 3d3 bug) and AT4 isn't meant serious you can say it covers the BP weapons.

Adding the sophisticated WP weapons (with complicated attachment structure) is beyond me - not to mention that splitting this tiny community won't serve any purpose.

somewhere in tdm maps on the official infiltration site and there also was a portable m2 hb machine gun in it i think.
kinda like being a terminator he he big gun makes big holes and biiiiggg booomm :D

??? I hardly doubt porting something to RA for a gametype I only put up like mebbe twice a week will split the INF community.

Also, I still keep AT4 and G36 on. It's a fun server, for the most part, so I don't mind if someone nails me with a rocket while I'm not paying attention. It's exhilirating, really. If only a few tactical people on the team have AT4's it actually adds an interesting and pretty realistic piece to gameplay. "Who says you can't have AT4's? It's war, and war isn't fair. I think Hellsing-like handheld full bore cannons would contradict the 'realism' you want to instill in Infiltration. But I suppose you could alternate between hardcore realism days and INF Monster Hunt with nuke days. INF does let you have the freedom to do both.

Well yeah. While I'm dead set on a realistic game, I also enjoy having an absurd game running on a realistic engine. RAv3 with monsters is intense ;)

no, the AT4 cannot be reloaded by the firing soldier. faster might be better, but there is no point in fixing the current INF weapon.

the AT4 is a completely different weapon, it's like apples and oranges.

I did indeed. Odie was very kind and let me piggyback off of his DTAS redirect. Regarding your rockets... LOL. That's an awesome picture. I'm kinda ignorant as to the types of rocket launchers. Mostly small explosives and HK guns are my thing. Isn't there a self loadable STS rocket launcher? Guess it's not the AT4 :p

(In paintball we use this thing we call the LAW. That's about as close to my rocket launcher experience as I get ;))

(It uses nerf footballs.)

The AT-4 needs backblast, penetration, and less splash damage. It is a HEAT round after all, not a frag. In general, it doesn't belong in Light Infantry vs Light Infantry. On the other hand, the soviet made RPG-7 can use frags which would be nice to see in INF, since it is probably the second most used light arm vs US infantry.
