As I'm sure anyone who's ever joined it knows, Server.cat has two primary purposes. 1: To be where .cat can work on their team stuff. 2: To be a for-fun server. What I've gathered you all here today for is the second one. What all do y'all want to see being run on Server.cat?
I've done all weapons (G36 and XM8 included, not to mention all explosives *cough*AT4). I've done Monster Attack. I've done CTF (hella fun with a big game) and I've done lots of RAv3. Oh yes, and classic AS. Is there anything out there that I haven't been doing that someone wants to see hosted? Is there something I've done exceptionally well on that people want to see more of? (And yes, I can run Duke hax for people sometimes if they want. Just as long as everyone knows them and such :D ).
I know there's still stuff out there like Zombies (which never works for me) and I think Yurch made something called Whackuh Action that was pretty crazy last time I tried it.

We like to keep it pretty 'EAS' 'round these parts...

Too many games with silly things - why bring that into INF?

Just for fun. Doing Monster Attack with RealAim is insane. Vix and I try to see how far we can get without dying. We don't make it too many waves *sigh* (though it depends greatly on the map)

Oh. Another thing Vix and I have been doing, which I HIGHLY recommend you snipers getting in on... is we fixed up the map MiddleOfNoWhere (check http://dotcat.5u.com for the fixed file) and have been playing that with RAv3 on. That makes for some INTENSE sniper battles (the map is HUGE (about 400 cubic meters) and open!) So far we've only had 1x1's but it'd be great to see more people in there with their rifles (though we HAVE tried smallarms. It fails pretty bad.)

If you're going to do shit for fun - you'll want to run 'microbulk'. It's good for when you play against the annoying monsters.

This way, you can basically carry every gun + ammo.

As for sniper stand-offs - see you there.

omwmtf that'd be great for monsters. although, admittedly. I have a hell of a lot of fun going commando once out of ammo, running amok with my knife (I don't do half bad. lol)

There are a few mutators already incorporated in Infiltration that makes for a lot of fun, at least for a while. Slowbullets and Low gravity. Combine those two and you'll have a few good laughs.

Oh, and I won't play on a server running any sort of hack, even if it's just for "fun".

haha. Exactly Geo. I gotta admit, doing the Duke redeemer nade's thing in MWH while trying to hide at the same time is really fun. I can just imagine full teams shooting at eachother with these things.

What was that thing called, with all the colours in the tracers? I think it rhymed with achtung, but I'm not sure. It was so much fun, yurch made it. I wonder if it still works (can't remember if it was 2.86 or 2.9).

You got those colored tracers in Real Targets now. Achung (or what ever the name was... can't remember) mostly evolved into BulletSounds 4 which evolved into real targets. Tracers followed in that evolution.

I already mentioned it ;). Inf Whackah Actshun or whatever. ANd yeah it works. Kind of. Well. It may work perfectly well, I'm just not entirely sure what all it's meant to do :D

What Wackah Actshun was, is coloured tracers where each gun had a specific bullet type. The bullet types were the colours, of course. All it meant was, I think red bullets were slow enough to dodge pretty damn easily, but if they hit you, you were dead. I think yellow traveled ridiculously fast but hit light. And there were some inbetween. Shotguns used purple I believe. Dunno what that meant ^^;;

Exactly, it was a lot of fun. I think shotguns were red, as was the robar. The minimi / m16 were purple, in between I think. With MP5 or M9 being yellow, with it you could run very quickly but the bullets would barely do damage.

I think the damage model for the players were different as well. It was so cool playing as yellow, such a challenge and it was neat taking out 'the tanks'.

Yellow bullets did extra headshot damage, very little otherwise. Fast run, low health, meant to be used in swarms. Green was slower, did more normal damage, had faster firing weapons to deal with the quick yellow. Blue was like this but heavier, red was heaviest. Each color is "designed" to have an advantage over the class directly below it, yellow wrapping around to have an obvious mobility/headshot/CD runner advantage over red. Meant for openish maps, close combat ones are too skewed in favor of the heavy classes. All bots were purple, which was a class of it's own.

Wasn't balanced too terribly well, I think the regen rate was made too high. Runs in base 2.9 without other mutators. Very sloppy, as I made it in a very short timeframe.

If you get TWT zombies working, I'll play at ping > 300 to get there. They often save my day after work, and I'd love to kill them as part of a team.

Sorry but the TWT zombies are dumb, I can survive indefinately with just a knife, and their hitboxes are messed up.

Server.cat should run EAS Specialist. If you want teamwork there are no substitutions for specialist. Also, if you're going to do RAv3 with EAS, do more than 1 life. EAS is kinda dumb without multiple lives (reinforcements).
