Well, it was quite better today. Clear blue sky, not that warm yet but I've a feeling things might change soon :) the sooner the better. I'm getting mighty sick and tired of this prolonged "winter" touch...

Same here. Although that "prolonged winter" got me a nasty throat infection. :(
The weather should better improve the next days...

Shelf Adventure.
We had a warm January (some of it was t-shirt weather, pretty much unheard of here), snow in march (again, unusual to have any beyond february), and now a freezing cold April.

Record 76+" of snow so far, a Blizard warrning for today with 1/4" of ice and then another 8-16" of snow on top of that for today.....I don`t mind having a great year to ride the snowmobiles around, but enough with the snow for crying out loud!!
Please, do your part to help global warming and get me out of this snow drift!
I`ll offer up a ride in the GTO for the person who helps out the most! :)

How's the weather today? Gettin' a bit warm over here ....

The snow wasn`t enough  now spring is here and we got nothing but rain! 5" in 3 hrs the other night alone. been raining for a couple days and we have flash flooding all over. My buddy with the `69 GTO had his shed flood out and his GTO was under to the seat tops! He dragged it out with a 4-wheeler into his garage and has the interior all removed, seats are in the house with fans blowing on them to dry them out. I think he should be fine as long as he gets it all dried out right away. I took some pics of the water around my house and out back by the shop. Never seen so much water here and I`ve lived here for like almost 20yrs now.
The back yard:

The side of the house:

Behind the shop:

Looking right, can`t hardly see but the guy in the next block down his back yard is completely under water:

looking left:

Same area, better angle, the road is submerged for three city blocks at least:

Supposed to rain all night, and all next week. :(

Just got the total for the last two days alone we`ve gottin 11.81" of rain!! That`s not counting all the rain we got last week. Just north of us, a popular tourist spot Lake Delton is spilling over it`s banks, has washed out a road and is pouring into the Wisconsin river, we`re directly down stream from there. They say they may not be able to save the lake, and it`s huge!! Our town is right on the Wisconsin river, it should be interesting to see if the new levy they built a few yrs ago will hold up.

26 celsius here in south Italy, sun, after two days of weak rain. ****, I'm strong to hot temperatures, so the summer won't be a problem - I hope.

It took just a couple hours and the whole lake was gone!!! Washed away 5 homes! They floated right past our town when they came down the Wisconsin river. If you have ever been to the Tommy Bartlett's ski, sky and stage show, yesterday their stage was 4 feet under water, today there`s no water and just mud! The Wyocena damn failed, Mirror lake damn is failing, 22 other damns in the area are failing, more rain for the next couple days. Yikes! Mother nature`s got a bite!

Yeah watched that on the news an hour ago. Couldn't believe my eyes, an entire house flowing down the river  And the ones which broke in half...

There goes an important part of your life, and there's nothing you can do about it.

Glad to hear the people were evacuated in time, though.
