Well, they'll have to go for big maps when the armor and the air cover come chargin' in. Then our 'nade abuse problems will probably be solved.

In Infiltration we aren't really using the grenade launchers properly. Which is why people can put an ACOG on their M16 with a M203. Because they know they'll never have to elevate the weapon to make shots at even their most distant enemies. Not to mention the explosives in Infiltration have toned down shrapnel. Fragments from a M67 can cause casualties from as far as 230 meters away. 40mm shells can cause a casualty 75 meters away if they strike a hard surface like concrete.
first off, if they can alter the physics of the 40mm and m67 grenades, why not just do the same for rg's?
secondly. are you talking casualties as in any injury, or casualties as in mortal wounds? cause even with the added range, the injury would just mean a (bigger) tick off the health bar.
(and to my uneducated ears, 75m sounds pretty far for such a small device)
the question I have is weather its worth all the trouble to do this. it would be cool to have them, but its still boils down to added work on someones plate.
m-16 is more than adiquate to represent all grenade firing rifles in the mean time.
far as acog+203 goes, I dont use acog on mine. and I dont use the iron sites either.
strange or not, I find I prefer to shoot with it in the side position during inf. (and I have found myself able to put nades through windows and other tight spots on occasion)
I can only assume that thats how I would fire the real thing if it was given to me with no prior instruction. the guns barrel blocks my view if I use the sites.
