I´m for grit but against scars...there´s gotta be an other way to make him look badass.The scarthing has been done a dozen times.

You could use my overlay tutorial to make him look a bit dirtier. A rusty metal texture overlaying at about 20% usually looks pretty good.

Well it need grit in the skin yeah and the eye will not glow ince it's a lense and not a LED.

I thought of making a scar on one eye after surgery implementing his eyes.
A dark red buise could be possible, but with time those dissapear so I don't know if it's good over long time since it took time to heal from the surgery too. The story here is the most implemented I've ever done

Sunglasses that's something I've never made before but definately a possibility.

For his flesh and texture overlay I actually have some textures of metal I've made myself with my digicam I'll see what it can do for him.

A scar would fit pretty well, depends on which technique Gorge used "extracting" his eyeballs -lol-
Maybe some small scars after surgery (the doctors are hopefully pretty good in the future, or was an animal doc the only one affordable/available? )

I don`t know if sunglasses would fit, but would definitaly help him staying "undercover" in civilian life.

This may sound dumb but you could go Mortal Kombat with it and on one of the eye it could have rusted metal round it so it seems like they had to bolt it into that eye. I think it was the original Jax or Kano that had it like that. I wanna read the full Story though when I wake up because im 2 seconds from fallling out my assaeerafafarrete to late....

Rusty plates and so on.. Never seen more than one Mortal Kombat movie and it was so bad I never wanted to see such thing again. Also never seen that dude.

But I've worked a bit on him and his eyes are now a tad better and both are now with the mechanical look.

The tattoo is just a temporary one to see how it looked. Also I've used a metal texture(I made myself) to give him some roughness to the skin.

Sungalsses are still WIP in my mind, but for now not untill I've worked some more on his eyes and skin sunglasses will come afterwards.

The tattoo thing is a good idea.
But I think you should make the tattoo look more, hmm, like an emblem? Fit better in with his style, you know.

Very nice skin you're working on here, the_rex! Romulus is one of my favorite characters in "UT 2003/2004", so I always like so see nice new skins for his model like this one.

As for the tattoo under his right eye, I like it. Maybe you could fancy it up a bit like T!T@N suggested, though.

Later today I'll post some pics.
I've re-adjusted the tattoo. Painted a bit more on his body. Trying to find a color that fits him. Tried purple, and no can do.
Any good color anyone!?
