By using a rotary launching arm, it would slowly build up speed, constantly spinning around, until it got to launching speed, and then the meatloaf could be released, sending it flying. Of course, you'd need some sort of sensor to determine the angle of the launching arm, so it can launch at just the right angle. Otherwise you'd probably send meatloaf directly into the ground a few times. Not a good idea.

But what about air resistence? If launched at a high velocity the meatloaf would fall appart due to the force of the air it was colliding with.
