Yes The Rock loves it. The Rock just wishes there were more servers already hehe Its going to take another 2-3 hours and then there should be plenty. In One hour it went from 2 servers-20 servers. hehe So as the millions and... millions get it.
The Rock will find better servers.
Now as to little details in Q3.
There are tons and The Rock means tons of Models with all different animations and movements,Tons of Skins for all of them.
They also talk mad garbage all time.
IF you taunt them. Like say you type you Suck
And put the opponents name. They will taunt you back! Which is really cool! The Bots ARE
AMAZING. They are much much better than the UT bots when it comes to human-like qualities. I played against one bot in a 10 frag dm. And IT the match lasted 20 minutes.
The Bot was sneaky and it would wait for me to look for it instead of me Camping hehe.
OR if I camped on a weapon The bot said ..
"Ah I see The Rock has camped on this level before!" LOL They do rocket-jumps. GRRR
Mean very mean. Now all we need are more maps to come out from the community hehe for CTF.
And CTF with bots is friggin amazing!
IF someone walked into your room while playing CTF with Bots They would swear up and down that your online.
They are that good. Some of the later levels are amazing. The Graphics is where Q3 of course shines. And for those who have tnt2s/G400s/Geforces This game will really shine. Of course those with Voodoo3s will run the game great at 16bit color. But The game really shines in 32bit and it doesn't have a horrible framehit when you run it at thet res. Oh and the MUSIC definitely is much better than that mod gunk in UT.
But If I had to choose between both I couldn't. Cause Q3/UT make different trade-offs. UT has more weapons that can kill you in one shot. Q3 is more difficult game cause you really have to wittle down your opponents unless you get ahold of quad and the Rail or Grenade or Rocket or Plasma or God forbid you have the BFG. oof that would be scary. hehe Oh yeah the BFG is more like a n ultra powerful Plasma gun with explosive bursts. VERY cool. OF Course very rare to get ahold of. /~unreal/ubb/html/smile.gif
All in all The Rock is very satisfied with Q3. Now All The Rock wants are MORE MODS!!

i can't wait to get my grubby little hands on it from the way you described it Rock.
and about the mods Rock, me and a friend released a mod called FastDM just recently for Quake II, and as soon as id releases the quake3 source code, expect a FastDM for q3 (FastDM is a deathmatch mod, where all the weapons shoot fast, but are extremly weak, so you must use a lot of stragty in battle).

I can't say that the bots are as good as The Rock says they are. I've never had them do anything but run around like idiots with perfect aim. I play in Hardcore, but they do it even in Nightmare. They could turn around in midair, circumcise you in one shot from the other side of the map with the Railgun and then fall into lava.
Also, they can dodge bullets without looking. Two bots were fighting with machineguns and since they hadn't moved the entire time, I thought one rocket to each should finish them. One was facing me and I was directly behind another. I shot two rockets at him and without taking it's eyes or gun off the other, it strafed to dodge one and jumped over another! This is not good 'AI' like UT has when the bots take an alternate route and shoot you in the back of the head when you are waiting for it to come back around the corner, but just a point and kill bot that has immaculate aim.
Ask the carney folk to get it, they're great climbers!

The Rock says you need to check your eye-sight Jabroni. And Hardcore is similar too INHUMAN in UT and The Rock Says that for damn sure is not REALISTIC either.
The Rock plays Q3 on Hurt ME PLENTY and is plenty impressed with the AI in Q3.
But The GREATEST area the Ai shines is in CTF. For those who have Q3 and The Rock means
Q3 final. Go into your q3arena folder and
go into extras,into help and there will be html help files. One of them is BotCommands.
Open that sucker up. And with that there are list of commands for The Bots in Q3. If you want to you can bind the commands to keys.
In Ctf the Bots were so damn good. The Rock felt like he was in a RTS. The Rock would issue the command <Phobos> Get <red> Flag.
And sure enough with the aid of another Bot The Rock sent to protect him,Phobos did get the Flag And HE CAPTURED IT. The AI in q3 is simply amazing. Each different Character has different weaknesses and strengths. Not like UT where the only character that really stands out is the Boss character Xan.
IF only the Characters in UT had been given as much work as The Boss Xan got. The Models and Animations are spectacular. And if you the owner of a tnt2/G400/Geforce your going to be in for extra graphical treats since Q3 really has some extra optimazations for 32bit color. OF Course as many know by now,The People's PC has a Tnt2ULTRA. But Fret not Voodoo3 owners if you have the latest drivers as of Nov30. Your OGL performance will be drastically improved and it does look very good. The Rock's brother has a same exact system as the People's PC except its a voodoo3 card. And the Graphics are still excellent. Not as good as the Tnt2s but not enought to detract from the experience.
The area that The Rock does feel should have done more work was CTF LEVELS. Thats it.
But That will be quickly rectified.
Once the level editing,model editing and source code for Q3 is released.
Then once that occurs the Rock will set about
creating His own MODEL OF Himself in Q3
with the People's Eyebrow of course. /~unreal/ubb/html/smile.gif
The Rock enjoy's Both games. The Rock excels at both games and if anyone and The Rock means anyone thinks they can challenge The Great ONE ,The Rock guarandamntees a battle that will be simply electrifying.
Now its time for the Rock to get best Tier 3
Combat in Q3. He has to get past Klesk.

Q3 is a piece of $#IT. the levels leave a LOT to hope for in the next of that crappy quake series. The textures or 2 tone, VERY dull, horrible coloring, and the SOUND!?!, what the hell is with the sound? if you get shot, it sounds like a car wreck gone WRONG. the bots are absolute dip****s, no AI whatsoever. they're pre-programmed to find a spot and sit. that's why it was letting you camp, becuase IT was camping. don't buy this game, it sucks. Hell, if you play CTF in Q3, the damn bots never come to back you up they find one spot, and sit and kill, that's IT, they don't do **** so i say..... FOR THE MILLIONS ANS MILLIONS ....THIS GAME SUCKS BIG SWEATY BALLS.....and uh....Rock, you're late for your Lobotomy appointment, wouldn't want to miss that (Jabrony).
