Q about 3D Studio Max and UnrealEd

  • Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It is highly recommended that you configure this to keep your account safe.

I have seen a few utilities floating around out there that can convert 3DSMax stuff to an Unreal format- can 3DSMax work be converted to be imported to a level map? Example is a level I am intending to work on would involve having automobiles strewn about. It'd be easier to fashion them in a 3rd party app than in UnrealEd...

Yes it can be done. Just export your model (automobile) from your 3dr party software. Make sure that you export it to .dxf format. Then just open up unrealed and goto brush=>import brush. your model should appear in ued. Scale and add to world.
