UE1 - UT Problem with UT: help me, super fast game!

Hi all, been ages i didn't come here

Since today when i start any UT99 map, i am running like crazy instead of walking! i lower the game speed in ''option'' but no change...
i didn't fool around changing stuff lately at all, what is the problem?

probably due to a MultiCore processor

1)Are you using an updated renderer?

2)Make sure the framerate is limited to something sensible (30-60fps) in the renderers advanced settings.
3)Try switching "wait for refresh"/VSync on.
4)Set your windows driver settings to "Use application settings".
