Problem with comments.

There's a bug or something with the comments of maps. That's just one of them, but I've seen them in other map's comments too. Lines are getting line breaks after just one or two words. If I go to edit mine, it shows up fine in the textarea though.

Hmm, I've noticed it doing that on occasion while posting reviews too, and I don't just mean the comments, but the review itself too.

As Freakin said, carriage returns are turned into <br>.
But actually that is not causing the problem. I made a modification over the weekend that attempted to fix comments which break the page layout by making long words or just any character in a lengthly repeated fashion. Side effect is the one or two word lines. Its actually a computer resolution issue which anything lower than 1280x1024 has the issue. I made the change on a computer with that resolution and didn't notice it until today because I'm on a different computer.

This will be an issue for a week and half or so. Don't have access where I'm at.


Mayhem, the fix wasn't applied to reviews so the issue you are dealing with is the carriage returns turning into <br>. Its that way so you can make paragraphs. Just don't do returns in middle of sentences.

I don't do returns in the middle of sentences, I think it usually happens when I change or fix a word before I post it.

Its only coded to do it for line breaks so some how you managed to squeeze one in.
