  • Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It is highly recommended that you configure this to keep your account safe.

...Um... hi. New at this.

I'd just like to try my hand at some animating and creation of textures, to see how I'd fare. (Note that by animating, I'm refering to making a model move, not creating the model.)

I'm not after joining a mod team (yet) untill I can see what I can do. Consider this a trial run I'll do for free, no strings attached, because I'm not entirely sure weither or not I can actually do it.

So... yeah. Looking forward to this.

[edit]

Should have mentioned this. I'm refering to UT2k4, of course, and for textures I have photoshop, and for animating I have the default Maya PLE 5.0.

For one, most of the mod work you're gonna do will be for free-even CS started off with the no-charge sweat and blood of its creators.

You can just create stuff and post it freelance to get some practice and have something to show when applying for a mod position.

....That's mostly what I figured I'd be doing.

And... I was under the impression that around 99% of the mods out there were for fun, not profit Oo
