sam - i read over at INA that people were having really weird results with setting the details to max on relatively ass computers that got somewhat nice GPU's. The scuttlebutt is that, with a nice vid card, you can amp up the graphical detail and itll either run at the same FPS or you will actually gain some... since the workload of degrading the quality of the textures is lifted off your processor and instead the full detail texture is just put straight through the vid card.
I noticed it actually made a big difference on my brothers comp (radeon 20billion, celeron 1.1 ghz. Gets 25 fps at low detail, 45 at high :confused: )
