It's a symptom of the society we live in these days that people want to look better than they actually are and manipulating digital photos is a way of achieving this - it's a vanity thing obviously - plastic fantastic - it happens in magazines, so why don't we accept it here?
I'm not that keen on posting pictures of myself because of the feedback I might get, so I applaud the fact that the likes of Igoy, even with photoshopped images, still posts stuff on here for us to comment on and just accepts the good and the bad that comes from that.
It can't be an easy thing accepting criticism blindly from total strangers - it either works in your favour if the overall response is good, being a male dominated site, flashing your tits helps a hell of a lot as well (shallow and sad I might add), or it will work against you (images re-photoshopped with hurtful results) - but this is the internet - everything is open season.
I can't believe this thread has been on the go since 2003 - is that date right?
