So when this happen I prefer to go D.Va because she can solo almost everyone except McCree and Mei.

Zarya's beam goes straight through D.Va's shield ability, afaik.

You can watch some of the Overwatch League matches to get a flavor of how a good team is built and skills required for each hero. Someone like junk rat or moiria is pretty easy to get the hang of. Or add me (username above) and I'll play a few with you.
