Got stuck playing this one over and over the other day online. It wasn't too bad a map...but the teams romping around these funky node setups made it slightly unpleasant. Still, I played.

There was plenty of room to move around and terrain like you'd seen in the film. It had a nice feel to it anyway, esp. around the center of the map. It did have sound bites here and there that seemed kinda inappropriate at times. Check it out...you and your team of ultimate badasses can save the day!

Well whenever I've played it, (on 2 different servers) the node setup is totally messed up.

The red team can access 3 or 4 nodes after building their second node.

Blue only has one node freed up at a time.

The level needs patching.

Or it at least needs a server admin who will change the default node setup, that's all.

Default node's are screwed indeed. But once u get on a server with a good setup, this map is a blast :tup: :tup:

I think the guy re-released it and straightened that some of that stuff out. Looks that way towards the end of that thread, anyway. There's a Version 2 of it at UP.
I thinks maybe it would make a good VCTF map as well.

Like other people said here, this is a great map, except the node layout sucks tremendously for the blue team.

first version; great atmosphere especially at night, blue team problems (good thing I always play red offline); I like the skybox, shooting stars, electric arcs, aliens sounds, custom music and whole center area; the bots aren’t bad either (will be commenting on day version soon in another thread somewhere).
