I'm not sure if This has been posted in here before, but there are some incredible quality photographs, especially the industrial ones toward the end. For some reason I like old pictures so much better than modern ones, though I quite like those too. Modern black and white, or cepia pictures through post processing never feel right. Why is that?

Nice Shot! You know, I don't think I've ever got up close and touched a cattail other than when it looks like a burnt corn dog. Strange plant that always makes me hungry.


Bi()ha2arD: Great shots! It looks like your getting good use out of that macro lens.

I got my hands on the very same lens you have for a wedding recently to do some ring shots. I think they turned out pretty good. The Bokeh is pretty nice except when there are bright sun reflections in the shot. In this case I used the sun to light up the ice and two white sheets of paper as fill.

Bio, those are superb shots!

FA, I was hoping for some "stormy" shots, but those are great.

Mike, I'm liking the rings on ice theme.

Seeing how I find that I actually like very few of my shots, and that I was a bit unsettled over the dramatic coloring on the Cattails pic, I decided to give it a B&W treatment. I like this version MUCH better.

Yeah I was a bit too much of a pussy with my new camera to take any shots like that . I was the first guy out after the storm taking photos though! It cleared up really fast.

I like the shot a lot but I think it would be cooler if you could see his eyes more. Enhance them!
