This is Felicia... I guess I have to say "was". She was my bed/lap kitty for 15 years, and she was nearly 20 years old. She disappeared a few weeks ago, and after searching everywhere in this area and calling for her (in all her years, she never strayed far from the front porch, and she always came when I called) I am accepting that she is probably gone... I hope I can find her body and give her a decent burial, but it doesn't seem likely.

Goodbye, my precious. I'll miss you.

i have a cat that sounds exactly like yours, only shes 16 right now. She never leaves from the front porch, and usually comes if i call her. And she's a cream colour, which is why she's called Bailey, after the whiskey brand.

The 2nd picture was taken while she was sick, and thus she always looked sad, so i tried to capture that.

I have a story similar to yours FTU, I feel your pain

My cat Marcus, we had him for 19 years, was lost in 2002. It wasn't abnormal for my cat to be gone for days and then come back. But I sort of find comfort in not knowing really, makes me feel like hes out there somewhere in the wild. He was found in the wild as a kitten, and now he has returned to it.
