need help with normals reversing after export to UNrealED

Hi, im having a bit of trouble finding out how to fix this weird problem with the wheels of my vehicle. Im building it following the videos on the editors edition dvd, and the way they do their wheels is they duplicate them across the x axis using the duplicate tool, and ive copied their exact settings. When it gets into UNed tho, the wheels that have been duplicated are inside out, the normals are reversed. Does anyone know how i could change this?

if you're using a negative scale value to duplicate, it may be inverting the normals. you could use Mirror Geometry instead (requires Edit Polygons->Separate afterward), or just re-reverse the normals (Edit Polygons->Normals->Reverse). to check the normals orientation, open the Display->Custom Polygon Display dialog and check the Face/Normal option, then Apply.
