Need help setting up a dedicated UT2k4 server

Hey there. I was wondering if you could help me set up a UT2k4 ONS server called [Tentacle]'s (thats my UT2k4 name) Onslaught Emporium. I tryed to srt it up, the little window came up saying Arctic Stronghold : 0 players, but it didn't appear on the server list when I searched. I didn't set it to lan. Unless.. what scale does the delay before join thing go in? Minutes or seconds? Need help

Usually it takes up to 5 minutes for the master server to register your server. Make sure under Server Rules "Advertise server" is also ticked and that you haven't accidentally set max players to 0.

Besides that, are you behind a firewall/router firewall? You may need to forward the ports you intend on opening to players. (usually 7777 or 7787)

Just done that.. restarting server.

Also, is the server based on the hosts normal IP? I mean the IP for your network. Because if it is, my server IP is 10.0.0.251

Oh yes, and does IRCBot for IRC channels do everything itself?

No, that's your local network IP.. you need to find out the IP of your router and forward the ports you intend to use to your computer.

IRCBot.. pretty much. Configure which channel and network it joins, then add it to ServerActors and away you go.

How do I configure IRCBot, though? Do I configure the .u or the .txt?

I guess its not that hard, I'll have a look-see.

EDIT the FIRST : Meh, I can't find my server .INI file

Edit the SECOND : Oh, wait, I think its either ServerFilters or server.txt
