Shadowlurker is called Zlal at the moment if I'm not mistaken. I registered as Mxtrmntr in 2001 and have never changed that name. Maybe the MS Paint-made avatar and the Ra/Arr thing reminded you of the whole Zlal pseudo-mythology?

Why thank you. Originally I had this idea about Omegacore being the future version of Demacore and there was to be a whole story line that would have explained the connection. For me, each Id is like a character that I can slip into. It enhances my foruming experience, especially since I got a (cheap-o) webcam a while ago and started creatively altering my own face as the avatars. It's kind of like virtual RPG in a way. I actually feel a little different when I log in as Demacore or Saintbeam or any of the others. You know how you feel when you put on a leather jacket or when you're wearing a suit and tie, it just feels different (at least for me it does). I like being able to switch up at a moments notice and express that particular part of my personality.

Anyway, since it doesn't seem likely that there will be another story thread the likes of "Deep Space Proxima Alpha", The whole Demacore to Omegacore concept doesn't really pan out any more. That's why I wanted this one changed. Ah, the burdens of hyper-creative genius-ness with a touch of paranoia and no "real life" run amuck.

There already is "The Jackal" as a username so can't do that.
Also we don't change user names due to people moving clans, the reason for this is because it would be way to much work for everyone involved.
