More UT2k3 reviews

  • Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It is highly recommended that you configure this to keep your account safe.

Strangely, 90% of the reviews are UT1 reviews. Now with UT2K3 out for over a full year, I think it's time we focus on the new game and review at least 50% UT2k3 maps! God knows there are a few hundred better looking maps waiting to be reviewed than a bunch of maps with shabby ut1 graphics.

Well at the moment only Prophet, Sir Tahngarth, and myself seem to be doing any reviews. I'd like to do some UT2003 reviews, but I don't have the game yet, and now I'm kind of waiting for UT2004.

As for the other two, I can't speak for them. And I do agree that we need more UT2003 reviews. Some reviewers just have to get their butt in gear. ;)

Maybe you could design a system called "Karma Reviewing". Basically, if you want your map reviewed, you must in return, review someone else's map that has previously requested a review. Of course, once the reviews are submitted for moderation, minor editing of the review essays will be the only step staff members at nalicity will need to make in processing the reviews.

Thus, you won't actually write a hundred reviews. Your mappers will write them for other mappers. It seems appropriate but I don't know how to write active server pages yet. I hope my suggestion is good :)

Well we do have the user comment option. I know you're talking about a full review, but the comments are still something to read for other opinions.

Actually, the reason for the lack of UT2K3 reviews is that the majority of the UT2K3 maps that come in lately are map ports, or other junk, with the occasional decent map.

I just reviewed DM-1on1-Rivalry and DM-Evil Dead, and those where the only two I saw worth reviewing since they scored over 2.
