Melting trees in space

It's my idea! None of you can have it!

I am going to invent liquid wood. By melting trees in space. Ok stay with me on this...

You can't burn something in a vacuum right? Cause combustion needs oxygen. So If you heated wood in a vacuum (the space bit just sounds more fun) with radiation, it couldn't burn/turn into ash. So wouldn't it melt? Melted trees! They're the future!

I have tis idea patented so don't steal it! Well, I say patented, what I mean is I've got 'invent spray on wood' written on a piece of paper somewhere...

I would think making radio active crucifixs would be more interesting but oh well.

Nah it would be easier to carve a crucifix and then irradiate it in that case. This is liquid wood! It's the future!

Yeah, but if you're going to make a buisness, you can't afford to go up in to space taking a load of trees with you every time
